Cinnamon Leaf Oil
Ceylon cinnamon is the type that is widely sought after in the global market. Cinnamon oil of the highest quality is manufactured in Sri Lanka using Ceylon Cinnamon, scientifically known as Cinnamomum zeylanicum, the finest cinnamon admired for its unique fragrance when compared to other essential oils. Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume is native to Sri Lanka and grown commercially in the Country.

AROMATIC SCENT: Musky and spicy
BLENDING: Blends well with Lavendar, Clove bud, Lemon, Orange, Rosemary essential oils.
Cinnamon leaf oil is obtained by steam distillation of leaves from Ceylon cinnamon plant. Oil is lighter in colour and mostly happens to be brownish-yellow. Euginol is the main chemical ingredient in cinnamon leaf oil. It carries a musky and spicy aroma along with a light-yellow tinge that differentiates it from the red-brown colour of the cinnamon bark oil.
Application of cinnamon leaf oil mixed with a carrier oil is used to relieve muscle aches. A maximum dilution of 0.6% is recommended for topical applications. Diluted cinnamon leaf oil is also a popular insect repellent.
CAUTION:
Do not use undiluted on skin, on broken skin or on abrasions. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Do not use internally, unless directed by a qualified medical practitioner. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under a doctor’s care, please consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
